LASER OPERATOR: SECOND SHIFT

Located in Columbus, OH

Salary: $20

We are looking for a 2nd shift Laser Operator 

 

REQUIRED:

Laser Operation experience; Minimum of 2 years

Maintain and Trouble Shoot (Amada) Lasers for Precision Custom fabrication

Physically able to manually offload materials; Pulling, pushing, grasping, metal products between 15-75 lbs. with regularly. 

 

• Automation experience preferred / but will train.
• Punch experience preferred / but will train.
• Familiarity with nesting desired.
• Knowledgeable about changing lenses, and conducting routine preventive laser maintenance.
• Programming / modifying downloaded programs.
• Proven ability to read and interpret prints/drawings to fabricate parts.
• Ability to identify metals such as cold rolled, galvaneel, stainless, aluminum, etc.
• High attention to detail and safety.
  
  EDUCATION:

High school or equivalent

Formal Laser training preferred but not required / OTJ experience considered  

Familiarity with ISO procedures /quality standards is beneficial.
Independence is necessary - as is the ability to work as a part of a team.

Standing, Sitting, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, Lifting to 75 lbs.

Pushing, Pulling, Fine tactical skills necessary.
