The Client Services Specialist (Special Project) is responsible for conducting calls to existing
Customers to re-screen and confirm ongoing eligibility. This role is primarily phone based
and requires working on site. Responsibilities include client verification, program
education, and accurate documentation, all while ensuring compliance with established
guidelines.
The ideal candidate is passionate about ending hunger and supporting community-based
programs, demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, and can manage a high volume of calls while maintaining a positive and professional client experience.

 

Responsibilities
• Conduct high-volume calls to active clients for eligibility re-screening
• Follow standardized scripts and screening procedures during all client interactions
• Verify, update, and maintain accurate client records in the system
• Process membership updates, including cancellations and re-enrollments
• Address client questions and concerns, providing guidance in a professional manner
• Maintain clear and professional communication while ensuring confidentiality
• Meet daily productivity and performance targets
• Escalate complex cases or issues as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess the following professional qualifications:
• Bilingual skills are required (Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese are highly desirable)
• Experience in customer service, call centers, or social services is a plus
• Strong communication and active listening skills in a high-volume, phone-based
environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Comfortable discussing sensitive or personal information with professionalism
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow established procedures

 

Pay Rate Range is $23.00-$25.00 HR

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm 

On Site in San Jose
