Position: Maintenance Assistant

Location: Nash, TX

Hours: M-F, 81-5p

Pay: $16/hour

 

Responsible for coordinating servicing and repair of transportation equipment by performing the following duties.

 

• Arrange for inspection, service, or repair to motor vehicles and trailers
• Verify daily trailer inspection reports from drivers and notify driver if any inspections are due
• Coordinate with vendors, drivers and other staff, needed equipment service or repairs
• Assist company drivers during breakdowns, arrange repair service in timely fashion, payout vendors
• Add trucks to Blue Beacon for washes, add IFTA stickers and permit books as needed
• Keep up with sub trucks, update spreadsheet with mileage and dates, update accounting
• Data entry, complete paperwork and update spreadsheets

Requirements of the position

High School Diploma or GED.
Good computer skills including Excel.
Physical demands include long periods of sitting.
