Location: Corona, CA Schedule: Full-time, On-site Duration: 3–5 months (Maternity Leave Coverage)
A bubble-wrap and protective packaging manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with manufacturing experience to support our team during a maternity leave period. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication between customers, production, and shipping while maintaining a high level of service and accuracy.
Process customer orders, changes, and inquiries via phone and email
Provide accurate lead times, pricing, and product information
Track orders through production and shipping to ensure on-time delivery
Resolve customer issues related to delays, product specs, or shipment discrepancies
Communicate daily with production teams regarding order status, inventory, and scheduling
Understand manufacturing workflows to set realistic expectations for customers
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with planning/warehouse teams as needed
Support quality-related communication (e.g., complaints, returns, corrective actions)
Maintain accurate customer records in ERP/CRM systems
Generate order confirmations, packing lists, and shipping documents
Assist with reporting, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of production processes, lead times, and order flow
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, production-driven setting
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in packaging, plastics, or materials manufacturing
Familiarity with freight carriers, LTL shipments, and logistics coordination
Bilingual English/Spanish
