Business Development (Part Time)

Located in Fitchburg, WI

Salary: $30/hr + comission

Express is hiring for a part time business development representative for a local cleaning company in the Madison, WI area. Enjoy a hybrid schedule, working from home and attending local networking events and client meetings.

 

This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, understands how to guide a conversation toward a decision, and is comfortable working in an environment where processes are still being refined.

 

Daily Tasks:

• Lead Generation & Outreach
• Discovery & Qualification
• Walkthroughs & Estimating
• Proposals & Closing
• Pipeline Management
• Ongoing Development
• Continuous Improvement

Qualifications:

• Prior sales experience (B2B or service-based preferred)
• Comfortable leading conversations and asking direct questions
• Strong follow-up habits and attention to detail
• Able to manage your own schedule and stay organized
• Willing to learn the details of a service-based business
• Adaptable—able to work without a fully “finished” system in place

Schedule: This position is expected to provide 20 hours of work/week. Hours around networking events and client meetings are required, other wise somewhat flexible schedule.

 

Pay: Base of around $30/hr + commission.
