Assembler – Express Employment Professionals

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to support business cell operations. This role is responsible for producing high-quality products that meet customer specifications and company standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform light assembly of fuel/oxy heating, welding, cutting, and regulation products according to specifications and procedures.
• Set up and operate machines, processes, and equipment as required.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on products and components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and use appropriate measurement and testing tools to maintain product consistency.
• Ensure all parts meet specifications, finish requirements, and handling procedures using proper documentation.
• Follow proper storage, handling, and disposal procedures for materials, including hazardous materials when applicable.
• Assist with maintaining department supplies and consumables.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and suggesting process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform routine/preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Maintain accurate department records in accordance with established procedures.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity using the Quality Management System.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No allergies to oils, solvents, or related materials.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to a full shift).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
