Hours: 40 hours per week

 

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

 

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics & Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping and loading operations. In this role, you will prepare finished work for outbound delivery, verify accuracy of orders, and operate a sit-down forklift to load branch shuttle trailers and local straight trucks. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that plays a key role in ensuring finished products are staged, scanned, and dispatched correctly and on time.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare finished work for loading onto branch shuttle trailers and local delivery trucks in an organized and timely manner.
• Check finished work for accurate items and counts prior to loading, ensuring all outbound orders are complete and correct.
• Use a handheld scanner to scan and confirm finished work as it is loaded onto trailers and straight trucks.
• Operate a standard sit-down forklift to stage, move, and load product safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Read and interpret printed loading documents to ensure accurate and organized truck loading sequences.
• Perform miscellaneous warehouse functions as needed to support daily operations and team productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and company safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

• MUST BE PUNCTUAL AND RELIABLE
• Demonstrated experience operating a standard sit-down forklift; must be certifiable.
• Experience using a handheld scanner in a warehouse, shipping, or distribution environment.
• Ability to read and understand printed loading documents, manifests, and shipping instructions.
• Ability to occasionally lift flooring materials and other items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and loading procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance Monday through Friday.

Preferred:

• Own transportation is a plus.
• Prior experience in a logistics, shipping, or distribution center environment.
• Experience in flooring, building materials, or related product distribution.
• Familiarity with loading and route manifests or delivery documentation systems.
