Yard Worker

 

Salary: $16/hr. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-4:30PM Saturday 6AM-12PM

 

Position Overview:
As a Yard Worker, you will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and preparing storage units and office spaces to ensure they are in excellent condition and ready for rental. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, repair, and prepare storage units and office spaces for rental readiness
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, hosing, and washing surfaces
• Repair drywall damage and replace tile or epoxy flooring as needed
• Clean windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls thoroughly
• Replace light bulbs, locks, blinds, door handles, and other fixtures
• Accurately document completed work and determine whether units require further repairs (red-tagged) or are ready for rent (green-tagged)
• Maintain yard organization, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and free of debris and hazards
• Operate a forklift to load and unload containers from trucks and trailers when needed
• Complete additional duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in general labor, construction, building maintenance, or repairs
• High School Diploma or GED
• Welding experience is a plus
