Express Employment Professionals of Everett is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production and packaging operations at a Stanwood company. This is a fulltime, permanent role with a starting wage of $27 - $35 per hour, depending on experience.

This role is responsible for leading frontline production teams, coordinating daily schedules, ensuring quality and food safety standards, and meeting production targets while minimizing waste and downtime.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone with flexibility to work days, swings and weekends, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production and packaging operations to meet output and quality goals
• Assign and organize labor to minimize waste, downtime, and inefficiencies
• Ensure production lines are properly set up and staffed with required tools and materials
• Monitor start-ups, changeovers, and line performance throughout the shift
• Work with maintenance to address equipment breakdowns and production issues
• Escalate issues, recommend solutions, and follow through on corrective actions
• Lead boil-out procedures, including chemical handling and safety compliance
• Partner with Quality Assurance on product testing and inspections
• Train, coach, and support production employees
• Conduct performance feedback and participate in employee development
• Maintain production records, reports, and trackers
• Support development of new processes and SOPs
• Enforce GMPs, food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards
• Follow and model all safety procedures and report hazards
• Perform other duties as needed

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday core schedule but flexibility on days and shifts is needed
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required
• Combination of floor-based and office work
• Exposure to varying temperatures, including coolers and freezers
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate power equipment

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years experience in food production, processing, or similar manufacturing environment
• Prior experience as a line lead, team lead, or equivalent role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of GMPs and food safety standards

Preferred

• First Aid certification
• HACCP or food safety training
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
