Express Employment Professionals of Everett is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a Stanwood manufacturing facility. This is a fulltime, permanent role with an annual salary of $130,000 - $150,000. 

This role oversees a skilled maintenance team, preventive maintenance programs, contractors, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operations with minimal downtime.

This is a hands-on leadership role supporting production, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations and team priorities
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for plant equipment and facilities
• Collaborate with production and leadership to support manufacturing schedules
• Manage maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers
• Partner with Equipment Maintenance Manager on installations, repairs, and inspections
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs and SOPs
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, food safety, and HACCP requirements
• Conduct safety audits, training, and incident investigations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in ERP/CMMS systems
• Support audits and plant expansion or capital projects
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Help manage department budgets, labor hours, and cost controls
• Provide hands-on technical support when needed

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday core schedule
• Overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability required
• Approximately 70% on the floor / 30% office
• Exposure to coolers/freezers and varying temperatures
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and operate power equipment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Valid WA State 01 Journeyman Electrical License
• 8+ years maintenance experience (electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
• 5+ years experience in food manufacturing or similar environment
• 5+ years maintenance leadership or management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management experience
• WA State refrigeration or HVAC certification
• ERP or CMMS experience
• Forklift or First Aid certification
• GMP, Food Safety, or HACCP knowledge
