CMM Inspector

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday

We are seeking a detail-oriented CMM Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Spartanburg, SC. This position is responsible for inspecting machined parts throughout production to ensure they meet customer specifications, quality standards, and dimensional requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with CMM reports, blueprint reading, precision measuring tools, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform first-piece, in-process, final, and outgoing inspections of machined parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications
• Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and height gauges
• Review and understand CMM reports and inspection data
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
• Identify and segregate nonconforming materials
• Verify traceability and required quality documentation
• Communicate quality concerns to production and leadership teams
• Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing or machining
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and dimensional inspection skills
• Familiarity with GD&T concepts preferred
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or structured quality systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing setting with standing/walking throughout shift
• Ability to safely work around machinery and industrial equipment
• PPE required
• Occasional overtime may be needed based on production demands
