Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pallet Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, drive production efficiency, and ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical skills, the ability to manage teams, and a focus on maintaining accurate production flow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily pallet production activities on the shop floor
• Distribute production sheets and provide clear instructions using standardized templates
• Meet with lift operators to coordinate material movement and workflow
• Ensure all jigs are properly set up, including correct material grade, sizing, and safety compliance
• Complete and enforce quality control (QC) checklists; verify setups are accurate from prior shifts
• Monitor product quality and address any defects immediately
• Train and retrain employees on proper stacking procedures and production standards
• Track production output and communicate performance and schedule expectations to employees
• Maintain accurate production reports, including productivity, overruns, scrap, and material usage
• Identify and document maintenance needs, cleanup requirements, and improvement projects
• Manage and track pallets requiring repair
• Ensure employees adhere to schedules, including timely return from breaks and lunches
• Delegate tasks effectively to meet daily production goals
• Communicate potential delays or issues to sales and shipping teams
• Review sales orders and assist with production scheduling
• Lead daily coordination efforts, including 11:00 AM inventory and production review meetings
• Coordinate end-of-day shutdown and ensure jigs are cleaned and prepared for the next shift
• Spend consistent time on the production floor to oversee operations and support the team

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy machinery
• Proficient in the use of nail guns and pallet assembly tools
• Strong understanding of pallet production processes, materials, and quality standards
• Ability to manage production schedules, reporting, and workflow efficiently
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work alongside production staff

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in pallet manufacturing or lumber-based production environments
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and production reporting systems
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and address equipment issues

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced industrial/manufacturing setting
• Requires standing, walking, and hands-on involvement throughout the shift
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
