We have an opening for a General Labor position working at a custom laser cutting service provider located in Tanner, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

Skills/Qualifications

Must have a willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions.

Must be capable of working an entire work week on a consistent basis.

Must have a working command of the English language.

Must be a self-starter and capable of performing tasks with limited supervision.

Punctuality and dependability.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

Assist in the daily startup and shutdown procedures for fiber-optic laser cutting equipment.

Operate shift lifters to move/load materials to be laser cut.

Select program, load material, cut parts and remove parts once process is completed.

Maintain part counts during production runs to meet customer orders.

Run multiple machines simultaneously (if required).

Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment in accordance with company standards.
