About the Opportunity:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Manufacturing Master Scheduler to support a cutting-edge aerospace and defense manufacturing operation. This role sits at the center of production execution—owning schedules across manufacturing, assembly, and test while working directly on the shop floor to drive output, solve constraints, and ensure on-time delivery. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for someone who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments.

 

Job Highlights:

• Own daily and weekly production schedules across manufacturing, assembly, and test
• Translate demand into actionable shop-floor plans
• Actively prioritize and dispatch work orders based on real-time constraints
• Manage WIP flow, bottlenecks, and sequencing to maintain throughput
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering to adjust schedules in real time
• Drive schedule adherence, recovery planning, and on-time delivery performance
• Identify and resolve material, capacity, and sequencing conflicts
• Support both production and R&D/program builds in a dynamic environment

What We Look For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing scheduling, planning, or fulfillment
• Hands-on experience building and managing production schedules
• Strong understanding of shop floor operations (assembly, machining, testing)
• Experience managing constraints, bottlenecks, and schedule recovery
• Background in aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing preferred
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and S&OP-driven planning
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
