Warehouse Associate

Located in Joppa, MD

Salary: $18 per hour

A warehouse in Joppa, MD is looking for a warehouse associate to join their growing team. This individual’s main repsonbilities would include shipping and reviewing, inventory, and processing sales orders. This is a 1^st shift opportunity and per company policy, all applicants must have a HS Diploma or GED.

 

Common tasks:

• Receive and verify incoming materials
• Maintain stock areas and put away received product on bins
• Pick and prepare sales orders for outbound shipment
• Package outbound shipments effectively and schedule UPS/Fedex/LTL
• Required to be familiar with basic usage of computers
• Requires a good attention to detail along with being punctual and efficient.

 

Preferred skills include:

• Accurate data entry skills, basic math & reading skills
• Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs
• Basic mechanical knowledge, use of hand and mobile lift equipment, simple hand and power tools, weighing scale

 

Schedule

• Hours: 8am – 5pm
• Pay: $18/hour
