Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Countertop Installer / Carpenter Assistant to join a growing team in the Madison area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has basic carpentry skills, and takes pride in attention to detail.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Assist lead installers with countertop installations at residential job sites
• Support with lifting, positioning, and securing countertops
• Gather tools and materials as needed on-site
• Sand and finish countertops to ensure a high-quality final product
• Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic carpentry or handyman experience preferred (shop class experience is a plus)
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic math, including fractions
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Comfortable working in customer homes with professionalism
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials

 

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (ability to drive company vehicles)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check 
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
