IT Helpdesk Specialist

1^st Shift: 6:30am - 3pm

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

 

Our client is seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide technical assistance to computer system users, answer questions, and resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or from a remote location. The IT Support Technician provides front-line technical support to employees across the organization. This role is focused on helping users solve everyday technology problems, keeping equipment running smoothly, and delivering friendly, reliable service to the business.

 

Job Duties:

 

• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with PCs, printers, and other peripherals.
• Set up, configure, and image computers and devices for new and existing employees.
• Assist with creating and updating user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Support employees with password resets, email issues, and basic application questions
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and hardware replacements.
• Provide one-on-one guidance to end users on company technology and policies.
• Support IT equipment in both office and manufacturing floor environments.

 Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Windows 10/11
• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) 
• Help desk ticketing systems (any)
• Printer and peripheral setup
• CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) or A+ certification is a plus, but not required.
