Job description:

Precision Assembly Technician in Troy, MI

Are you looking for more than just a job?

We are a small, tight-knit manufacturing team that genuinely cares about our people — the kind of place where you’re known by name, your work matters, and you’re treated like part of the family.

We’re not looking to fill a seat. We’re looking to welcome our next long-term team member - someone who takes pride in their work, values stability, and wants to grow with a company that values them in return.

If you’re someone who believes in doing things the right way every time, we’d love to meet you.

What Makes This Different

  • Family-oriented, supportive environment — not a large, impersonal shop
  • Clean, climate-controlled facility
  • A team that values respect, consistency, and long-term relationships
  • Leadership that appreciates craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • A place where people stay because they’re treated well

The Role

You’ll be assembling precision industrial equipment in a hands-on, detail-driven environment where quality is everything.

This role requires someone who:

  • Follows assembly instructions 100% - no shortcuts, no workarounds
  • Takes pride in precision and consistency
  • Enjoys working with their hands and building things the right way

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble precision machinery using written instructions, drawings, and prints
  • Work with small parts using hand tools with a high level of accuracy
  • Inspect parts to ensure exact specifications are met
  • Operate shop equipment such as drill press, band saw, and belt sander
  • Support packaging and shipping of finished products
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Assist with inventory and receiving of materials

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of production or assembly experience, ideally in a precision environment
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions exactly
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, dependable, and takes ownership of their work
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Why This Role Matters

We’re building something with care - and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that for the long haul. If you’re tired of being just another number and want to be part of a team that values you as a person, this could be the right place for you.
