Our client, a stable and growing manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Quality Lead / Supervisor to oversee quality control operations and lead a small team on the production floor.

This role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet required specifications and quality standards, while maintaining accountability and consistency across the shift.

• Supervise and support a team of 3–5 employees on 2nd shift
• Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts
• Use measurement tools such as calipers and tape measures
• Evaluate product quality based on:
• Dimensional accuracy and tolerances
• Visual inspection and finish quality
• Ensure adherence to established processes and quality standards
• Identify and address quality issues in real time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience (3–5 direct reports)
• 3–5 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience in plastic injection molding preferred
• Familiarity with ISO standards is a plus
• Ability to read and use precision measurement tools
• Forklift certification required
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail

Additional Preferred Experience

• Background working with plastics or similar materials
• Experience identifying both objective defects (measurements) and subjective defects (visual quality)
• Wood or material finishing knowledge is a plus

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $24.00 – $27.00/hour (flexible for the right candidate)
