Shifts: 12‑hour shifts (day or night, based on need)

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and attentive Security Officer/Gate Attendant to support a paper mill facility in Lewiston, Idaho. This position is ideal for individuals who are alert, trustworthy, and flexible with their schedule. You’ll play a key role in maintaining site security by monitoring access, verifying identification, and observing the facility to ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Verify proper identification and credentials for all visitors
- Monitor facility access points and surrounding areas
- Walk the facility perimeter for observation and security checks
- Provide directions, maps, and general assistance to visitors
- Maintain awareness and report concerns as needed
- Remain on feet for the duration of a 12‑hour shift
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the site

Qualifications & Skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and highly alert
- Flexible with scheduling and extended shifts
- Comfortable standing and walking for a full 12‑hour shift 
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record 
- Prior security experience preferred
- Previous law enforcement experience with P.O.S.T. certification is preferred but not required
