Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: 90 day temp to hire pay: $18/hr per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm

 

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Sheet Metal Department. This position is ideal for someone with a background in construction who is comfortable working with tools, measuring materials accurately, and performing physical labor. The role involves handling sheet metal materials and supporting daily shop or job-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, handle, and move sheet metal materials accurately
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Load, unload, and transport metal sheets and materials
• Assist with fabrication, cutting, or assembly tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move metal sheets weighing 25–75 lbs
• Stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday

Required Qualifications

• Construction background required
• Strong experience using power tools and tape measures
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sheet metal or metal fabrication environment
