We are currently seeking a full-time Route Driver to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 26’ non-CDL box truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety requirements
• Execute deliveries and collect empty pallets/equipment efficiently from assigned locations
• Work directly with customers to ensure program compliance and timely returns
• Handle challenging or reluctant customers professionally, ensuring successful pallet recovery
• Document all delivery and collection data including times, mileage, volumes, and customer interactions using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and company-issued devices
• Use company-issued iPhone and tablet for communication, tracking, and reporting
• Identify and visit potential collection locations to expand customer base and increase returns
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient daily unloading and operations
• Load and unload pallets as needed using a manual pallet jack

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B driver’s license and clean DMV record
• Must be able to pass the background check
• Comfortable using technology (iPhone, tablet, apps)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle confrontational situations professionally and effectively
• Task-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Ability to read, write, and speak English (bilingual is a plus)
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must pass the DOT English Proficiency Test

Preferred Background:

• Experience in collections (repossession-based or asset recovery accounts)
• Delivery experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
• Previous experience in route driving, logistics, or warehouse operations
