We’re looking for a Senior Property Manager who brings financial savvy, strong leadership, and exceptional relationship-building skills to the table.

 

🏢 About the Role

The Senior Property Manager is responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, and strategic execution of a mixed-use commercial property. This role blends big-picture asset management with hands-on leadership to ensure operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and maximized value.

 

🔑 What You’ll Do

Property Operations

• Lead day-to-day operations with a focus on quality, safety, and curb appeal
• Develop and implement best-in-class operational policies and procedures
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage vendors, service contracts, and capital improvement projects

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and forecasts
• Monitor income, expenses, and variance reports with a cost-control mindset
• Oversee rent collection, AP/AR, and comprehensive financial reporting
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and enhance asset value

Tenant Relations & Leasing Support

• Build strong, long-term relationships with retail, office, and residential tenants
• Resolve tenant issues quickly and professionally
• Partner with leasing teams on renewals, retention, and new leasing efforts
• Oversee tenant move-ins, move-outs, and space build-outs

Team Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and inspire property management and engineering staff
• Create a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Coordinate with security, maintenance, and third-party service partners

Strategic Asset Management

• Partner with ownership and asset management on business plan execution
• Provide insight into property positioning, improvements, and market trends
• Support long-term capital planning and asset strategy

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations
• Oversee risk management programs and emergency preparedness
• Maintain accurate and organized property documentation

 

✅ What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field
• 7–10+ years of commercial property management experience
• Mixed-use or large, complex asset experience strongly preferred

Skills & Strengths

• Strong financial and budget management expertise
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities
• Excellent communication and tenant relations skills
• Proficiency with property management systems and reporting tools
• Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment

Preferred (But Not Required)

• CPM or RPA designation
• Experience with integrated retail, office, and residential properties
• Knowledge of local market conditions and leasing practices

 

🕒 Work Environment

• Primarily on-site position
• Flexibility for occasional after-hours needs
• Emergency response availability as required
• Regular interaction with tenants, vendors, and ownership

 

💼 Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience 115,000-150,000
