Process Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, processing, minor repairs, and quality control of our medical equipment.
This position will play a key role in ensuring that our products are in compliance with infection control procedures set forth by the company in accordance with government regulations.
Schedule: Mon-Fri / 7:00 am-3:30pm [OT likely]
Compensation: $22.00-24.00/hour
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Clean, disinfect, and process medical equipment using cleaners and solvents.
- Troubleshoot equipment and make minor repairs using hand tools.
- Preventative maintenance as necessary.
- Quality Control checks.
- Work with the Rental Operations team to ensure products are prepared for patient/customer use.
- Adhere to work and safety guidelines and meet required performance standards as defined by the management team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with cleaning, disinfecting, processing and quality checking of equipment preferred.
- Basic experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems preferred; experience utilizing handheld computing devices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written communication); effectively able to articulate ideas.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
