Job Description: General Laborer – Remodel Project (Temporary)

Pay: $18–$25/hour (DOE)
Duration: Temporary, approx. 3 weeks
Schedule: Full-time, daytime hours
Location: On-site remodel project

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable General Laborer to assist with a short-term remodel project. This role involves light demolition, tear-out work, painting, basic bathroom repairs, and general cleanup. Ideal candidates have hands-on construction or remodel experience and can work independently while following directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform light demolition (removing fixtures, drywall as needed, flooring tear-out)
• Remove and dispose of carpet and debris
• Prep, paint, and touch up walls and trim
• Assist with bathroom updates, including:
  • Removing and reinstalling toilets
  • Basic fixture removal and replacement
  • Cleanup and finishing details
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use basic hand and power tools safely
• Follow project timelines and instructions

Requirements

• Previous experience in general labor, construction, remodels, or maintenance
• Comfortable with light demolition and physical work
• Experience removing/reinstalling toilets is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work for the full temporary duration
