About The Role:

Our client is a leading 60+ year old manufacturer of high-quality laboratory furniture for industrial, pharmaceutical, education and healthcare markets. 

 

We are currently hiring for an Industrial Coater for their growing environment.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Identify if parts are dry from wash before coating. 
• Apply accurate amount of powder coating using a spray gun
• Sand and rework parts to acceptable quality when there is any rework 
• Maintain coating guns and machines on a daily basis 
• Troubleshoot basic problems with coating equipment 
• Report defects in coating equipment or spare parts 
• Participate in color change process including cleaning the booth 
• Recognize and troubleshoot problems related to powder coating defects and adjust accordingly.
• Follow the coating department's break times 
• Maintain a clean coating area 

What We Are Looking For:

• Powder coating experience 
• Ability to wear a fit-tested respirator for safety purposes 
• Must be able to work in a team environment 
• Good organizational skills 
• Able to establish between different colors on the color spectrum
