General Laborers – 3‑Day Project (Yakima Training Center)

Location: Yakima Training Center (Military Base)
Dates: April 26 – April 28
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30‑minute lunch)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Positions Available: 6
Duration: 3‑Day Project

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, hard‑working General Laborers for a short‑term project at the Yakima Training Center. This assignment involves heavy, physically demanding outdoor work, assisting with the setup of a very large tent and the installation of tent flooring. Candidates must be able to follow directions, work as part of a team, and handle continuous manual labor throughout the day.

Note: This project takes place on a military base. Background and identification requirements apply (see below).

Job Duties

• Assist with erecting a large commercial tent
• Install tent flooring (4x4 wood panels with metal frames)
• Lift, carry, position, and secure flooring materials
• Perform repetitive bending, lifting, pulling, and manual labor
• Follow safety guidelines and supervisor instructions
• Work outdoors for the duration of each shift

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials repeatedly
• Ability to bend, squat, stand, and work on feet for extended periods
• Comfortable performing strenuous, labor‑intensive outdoor work
• Strong work ethic and team mindset

Requirements (Mandatory)

• Valid REAL ID or U.S. Passport required for base access
• No felonies or active warrants
• Ability to meet military base security requirements
• Reliable transportation and commitment to all three workdays

Dress Code

• Work boots required (no sneakers)
• Jeans in good condition (no shorts)
• Dress appropriate for outdoor manual labor
• Bring your own lunch, snacks, and water
