Marine Mechanic

Located in Ventura, CA

Salary: $30-$40/hr

Position: Mechanic (Automotive / Marine)
Location: Ventura County Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime Available)
Pay: $20–$35/hr (DOE)

Job Summary:
A growing industrial employer is seeking a hands-on Mechanic to support equipment and vessel operations, including work on boats and marine-related systems. This role is open to candidates with either automotive or marine experience. The primary focus is on engine removal and replacement rather than detailed engine repair.

Key Responsibilities:
• Remove and replace engines on equipment and marine vessels
• Assist with general mechanical work related to maintenance and operations
• Inspect components and identify issues during engine swaps
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:
• Experience as an automotive mechanic or marine mechanic
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with engine removal and installation preferred
• Marine or boat-related experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
