We are looking for a skilled Batch Cook to join our team and help streamline meal production.

 

As a batch cook, you will be responsible for preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards.

 

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift (10AM–6:30PM)

• Pay: $21–$23/hr Depending on Experience!

 

 

Batch Cooking: Used for meal prepping, catering, or feeding large groups efficiently.

Batch cooking can involve making full meals or preparing components—like cooked meats, grains, or chopped vegetables—that can be mixed and matched throughout the week. It helps save time, reduce food waste, and make meal planning easier.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook bulk meals according to established recipes and portion guidelines.

• Ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and texture of food items.

• Manage food inventory, rotate stock, and minimize waste.

• Follow all food safety regulations, including proper storage and handling procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and workstations.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize efficiency and workflow.

• Adhere to production schedules and meet daily meal preparation targets.

• Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, and food processors, safely and efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills: Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Proven experience in a fast-paced cooking environment.

• Proficiency in high-volume cooking, serving 200+ people

  (e.g., cafeteria, elder care, hotels, or similar settings).

• Experience in food preparation or cooking in a high-volume setting.

• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food production.

• Efficient multitasking and time management skills.

• Ability to lift heavy ingredients and stand for extended periods.

• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
