CDL Driver - Stick Shift (Sheet Metal Delivery)

Location: West Phoenix

Salary: $28-$30 per hour (depending on experience)


Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver with a stick shift designation to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver sheet metal using a 1-ton truck with a gooseneck trailer. This is a crucial role in ensuring our products are delivered safely and on time to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 1-ton truck with a gooseneck trailer for the delivery of sheet metal.
  • Load and unload sheet metal materials as required.
  • Ensure timely deliveries to various locations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL with stick shift designation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Experience in handling and delivering sheet metal or similar materials is a plus.
  • Ability to operate a 1-ton truck and gooseneck trailer safely.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, typically starting around 5 AM or 6 AM and ending around 1 PM or 3 PM.
  • Physical ability to load and unload materials as needed.

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay rate of $28-$30, depending on experience.
