Warehouse Administrative Coordinator - 2nd Shift
Located in Kentwood, MI
Salary: $19/hr + shift premium
Warehouse Administrative Coordinator Job Summary:
A large third-party logistics and distribution facility is seeking an Administrative Warehouse Clerk to support the daily flow of shipping, receiving, and inventory activity for their customers. This role serves as a key point of coordination between drivers, warehouse staff, and internal systems to help keep materials moving accurately and efficiently.
Warehouse Administrative Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Support administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Manage email flow and respond to customer and carrier communication
- Check in and check out drivers and verify paperwork accuracy
- Manage appointment scheduling for inbound loads and follow up on late or problem appointments
- Coordinate trailer offloads and dispatch carriers as needed
- Complete data entry and maintain accurate shipment records
- Prepare bills of lading, receipts, labels, and other shipping paperwork
- Work closely with warehouse staff to support material movement
- Assist with general problem solving related to shipment delays, paperwork issues, and inventory discrepancies
Schedule & Pay:
- 2nd shift, 5:00pm-3:30am Mon-Thurs
- $19.00/HR + shift premium
Warehouse Administrative Coordinator Qualifications:
- Customer friendly with strong communication skills
- Experience with bills of lading and shipping paperwork
- Shipping and receiving knowledge or experience helpful
- Experience in a warehouse office, logistics, distribution, or shipping clerk role preferred
- Strong data entry skills with good accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Synapse, AX, Maves, SAP, or other ERP/WMS experience helpful
- Proven history of good attendance and reliability
