Our Ajax client, a tire shop specializing in auto repair and chassis alignment is looking for an experienced Tire Technician to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical inspections and service on a variety of vehicle brands and types
• Understand and use work order inspection procedures and tools for industrial tire equipment
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and installations
• Unload, mount, dismount and change tires and rims
• Inspect, repair, rotate, balance, and align tires
• Perform product removal, installation, and repair service safely
• Perform oil changes and fluid top-ups
• Housekeeping duties; organize and clean up shop
• Strict adherence to safety policies and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other general labour tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Tire Technician
• 1-3 years of experience working on vehicles in a garage or tire shop
• Proficient with using hand and power tools
• Able to operate tire machines and balancing equipment
• Lift 50lbs, physical strength and stamina
• Comfortable bending and standing on feet for long periods
• Safety boots required

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Pay Rate: $22-$25 per hour based on experience
