The Weekend Furniture Warehouse Associate is a critical role responsible for the safe handling, assembly, and inventory management of high-quality furniture pieces. Operating under ISO 9001 quality management protocols, you will ensure that every item—from the loading dock to the showroom floor—is handled with zero defects. This role requires a commitment to ISO 45001 safety standards to maintain a hazard-free environment during weekend operations.

 

Key Responsibilities (ISO-Optimized)

• Precision Material Handling: Execute the safe loading, unloading, and movement of furniture using proper lifting techniques and equipment (dollies and pallet jacks).
• Quality Assurance (QA): Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies against manifests; document and report any non-conformances immediately.
• Assembly & Preservation: Assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications and ensure items are properly wrapped and protected for transport or storage.
• Inventory Integrity: Maintain an organized warehouse layout; assist in cycle counts to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and ISO safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and maintaining clear, debris-free walkways.
• Customer Support: Assist with customer carry-outs, ensuring a professional and courteous "white-glove" experience.

 

Schedule & Location

• Location: Boca Raton, FL (N Federal Highway)
• Days: Saturdays (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Sundays (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
• Environment: Professional retail-warehouse hybrid.

 

Essential Requirements

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. consistently.
• Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness and organization.
• Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality, specifically for weekend shifts.
• Professionalism: No jeans or shorts; must adhere to the company’s professional dress code.
• Technical Skill: Proficiency with basic hand tools for furniture and showroom assembly.
