Paint Line Team Member

Salary: $21/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Paint Department Team Member for a local manufacturing company looking to add reliable talent to their production team. This role supports daily paint-line operations and plays a key part in preparing, finishing, and packaging hydraulic cylinders for shipment.

 

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Payrate: $21/hr

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prep cylinders for painting, mix primer/paint, and clean finished cylinders

• Remove freshly painted cylinders from the paint line and place them into bags or containers per customer specifications

• Package completed cylinders, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement

• Cut wood stock using a circular saw to create supports for pallets and shipments

• Secure products using shrink wrap, wood bracing, and metal banding

• Apply shipping labels and verify accuracy against paperwork

• Move packaged materials using a pallet jack to staging or loading areas

• Load finished products onto trucks for shipment

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

• Experience with paint or paint-line operations is a plus

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Basic shop math skills

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
