Drill Helper

Salary: $16.00 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable candidates for a Drill Helper position with a Consulting Engineering and Drilling Firm. This position will pay $16 / hour and the hours are 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday-Friday. This position does require you to be out of town Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Assist drillers to pull soil samples
• Will take track mounted drilling unit, drill into ground to take soil sample and put and mark into bag
• Perform minor maintenance on machine and tracks
• Will train out of town for first 2 weeks in Lexington, KY
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Capable to lots of manual labor
• Capable of working outdoors
• Must have transportation and valid Driver's License to drive to work sites
• Math skills is a bonus
• Diesel background would be preferred 
• Able to work some Saturdays
• Capable of following Company PPE: Hard hat, work gloves, and steel toes
