Job Title: Graveyard Production Paper Feeder

Pay: $17hr 

Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday 7:15 PM- 5:45 AM (Occasional Tuesdays As Well When Needed!) 

Job Summary

The Production Paper Feeder supports high-volume print and coupon production operations by working on a production line to feed printed paper materials onto a conveyor belt for processing. This role ensures a steady flow of materials through the line while coordinating with team members, including end-of-line associates responsible for bundling and palletizing finished coupon stacks. The position is essential to maintaining efficiency, quality, and production timelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work on a designated production line feeding printed paper materials onto a conveyor belt
• Ensure proper placement, alignment, and continuous flow of paper to prevent jams or downtime
• Monitor paper quality, count, and condition before feeding onto the line
• Communicate with team members along the line to maintain a steady production flow
• Support end-of-line operations where finished coupon stacks are collected, zip-tied, and palletized
• Assist with pallet building, stacking, and securing finished materials according to specifications
• Verify job tickets and production requirements throughout the run
• Assist Press Operators and production leads during setup, changeovers, and cleanup
• Remove scrap, waste, and excess materials from the line as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all Valassis safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and lockout/tagout requirements
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work in a production line or manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs (with assistance or mechanical aids as required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible schedules, overtime, or weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in printing, packaging, conveyor line work, or manufacturing
• Experience handling paper products, coupon materials, or palletized goods
• Familiarity with production flow and teamwork in a line-based environment

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Exposure to noise, dust, paper fibers, inks, and industrial machinery
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
