Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Etobicoke area, is hiring Mechanical Assemblers to support growing production needs. This is a 3-month contract role with strong potential for permanent placement for reliable, hardworking candidates.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools and power tools
• Install and fasten screws, bolts, and hardware, ensuring proper alignment and torque
• Inspect parts for defects to meet quality standards
• Record completed work, quality checks, and any issues encountered
• Follow all safety procedures when using tools, equipment, and materials
• Participate in training to learn how to read basic blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Safely operate cranes, ladders, and material-handling equipment
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

What You Bring

• Up to 1 year of experience in a mechanical or assembly environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Hands-on experience using hand tools
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to read or learn to read blueprints
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable and safety-conscious mindset
