Location: Winona, MN
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional Friday overtime)

Overview

Express Employment is hiring an Assistant Test Technician to support testing of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies. This hands-on role is ideal for someone interested in electronics, troubleshooting, and working in a production environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support test processes by working with technicians and engineering on electronic assemblies
• Operate and load/unload burn-in chambers; assist with retesting and troubleshooting
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on test fixtures and equipment
• Complete basic debugging (solder bridges, missing or reversed components)
• Safely perform testing involving high voltage/current equipment

What We’re Looking For

• Circuit board assembly experience preferred; IPC-A-610 knowledge a plus
• Basic understanding of automated testing systems and electronics fundamentals
• Ability to use hand/power tools and basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, quality software)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Interest in a 2-year electronics degree or equivalent hands-on experience

Physical & Work Environment

• Lift up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, bending, walking, and reaching
• Hands-on manufacturing/testing environment with exposed electronic systems
