Key Responsibilities (Heavy Labor & Production Work)

• Work with treated railroad ties and lumber materials
• Remove steel rods from stacked ties
• Operate air benders to package ties into bundles
• Use a tie pick to space and align materials
• Apply steel endplates to railroad ties
• Drill holes into ties using power tools
• Place plates and spikes for production prep
• Use hammers and jackhammers to set spikes
• Perform general heavy labor and production duties
