Manufacturing Company in Oriskany is seeking a dedicated and organized Sales Representative Assistant to join their dynamic sales team. In this role, you will provide essential support to sales professionals by managing administrative tasks, coordinating client communications, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude to help drive sales success. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in customer service, office administration, and sales support within a professional environment.

Duties

• Learn conversational technical aspects of all types of finishes provided by Company
• Fluent in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Be Goal oriented and able to work on their own.
• Understand goals and direction of company and orient objectives toward those goals.
• Maintain CRM software with weekly updates of actions.
• Assist in marketing efforts including website, brochures, constant contacts, etc.
• Assist in customer service contact where needed.
• Valid driver license and car
• Gain as much competitive information as possible and formalize that info to report upwards.
• Identify potentials and form plan to make those potentials into long term customers.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint is required.
• Associates degree preferred; not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• 2+ years experience in a sales or technical field preferred
• 2+ years of work experience in an industrial field is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
