Pay: $23.60/hour
Schedule: Day shift, rotating schedule

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Boilermaker to support production and assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assembling, fitting, and tack welding internal components, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to assemble internal components
  • Perform marking, fitting, and tack welding of structural components
  • Assist with door frame fitting and alignment
  • Make adjustments to parts and equipment to ensure proper fit and safe operation
  • Perform flange correction using heat per work instructions
  • Complete required production and inspection documentation
  • Maintain product quality in accordance with established standards
  • Minimize downtime and support daily production goals
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of safety procedures and manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality

Technical Skills:

  • Basic computer skills required

Experience:

  • No minimum experience required; manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs as needed
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
  • Ability to wear required PPE at all times

Work Environment & Safety

  • Must follow all OSHA, state, and local safety regulations
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any hazards
  • Support proper waste handling and environmental practices
  • Work safely at all times—safety is a condition of employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ months of manufacturing or industrial experience
  • Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
