We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing heavy equipment components used across various construction and industrial projects. This role requires a strong foundation in welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components.
• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to assemble structural parts.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize manufacturing processes.

Skills

• Proven construction site experience with a solid understanding of heavy equipment fabrication.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in the use of calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes including pipe threading and ductwork installation.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to fabrication tolerances, and project specifications.
