TIG Welder

Salary: $22.00 per hour

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding high-quality components used in the production of commercial and industrial ovens. The ideal candidate has experience with stainless steel fabrication, precision welding, and maintaining strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel and other metals used in oven manufacturing
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld oven components to exact specifications
• Ensure welds meet structural and cosmetic quality standards
• Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance
• Operate grinders, polishers, and other fabrication tools as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and improve processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food-grade or commercial equipment manufacturing
• AWS welding certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Familiarity with MIG welding is a plus
• Experience working with thin-gauge materials

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
