Maintenance Mechanic

Located in Round Rock, TX

A local company in the Georgetown area is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Maintenance Mechanic to support operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a hands-on role working with diesel equipment, production machinery, and hydraulic systems.

 

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift
Pay: Up to $35.00/hour (DOE)

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel and gas engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Inspect equipment for safety hazards, defects, and needed repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multi-meters, etc.)
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standard
• Communicate equipment concerns and safety risks to management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with:
  • Production machinery
  • On-road and off-road equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Own tools required
• Technical training or vocational background preferred

Work Environment

• Industrial setting with exposure to:
  • Noise, moving machinery, grease, and vibration
  • Indoor/outdoor conditions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
