The Machinist ensures the correct operation of machining, automation and washing equipment and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 5 axis, twin spindle CNC machines
• Operate and maintain robots & automation equipment
• Operate and maintain automated washing machine
• Participate in machine cleaning, 5S activities on a daily basis
• Enter production, scrap, downtime and other data into computer systems on daily basis
• Read blueprints, understand dimensions and tolerances, GD&T
• Use dimensional gauging to measure and document part dimensions

 

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of machining experience 
• Experience using power and hand tools.
