Our Pickering client, a wireless test company specializing in the design and production of RF test enclosures and wireless test systems is looking for a Production Assembler to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly of components such as hinges, latches, gasketing, and similar hardware
• Assemble RF cables, electrical panels, electrical boxes, mechanical jigs, and fixtures

• Measure, cut and install RF absorber foam and install into safes
• Use crimp tools and power tools to crimp, strip, and cut wires
• Assemble hinges and handles on safes
• Perform quality inspections to ensure quality of products produced
• Strict adherence to safety guidelines and policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-3 years of Production Assembly experience
• 2-3 years of experience using hand and power tools (drills, saws, screwdriver, exacto knife)
• Mechanically inclined, and know how to read a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail and fine motor skills
• Able to read and interpret designs/schematics
• Able to work independently within a team environment
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Safety boots required

Bonus Qualifications:

• Soldering experience (asset)
• Prior experience with electronic assembly (asset)
• Coachable, team player, and willing to learn
• Positive attitude, reliable, and punctual

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Pay Rate: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
