Job Description:

We’re hiring a Operations Mechanic to join a busy and safety-focused manufacturing environment. If you enjoy working with your hands, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping operations running at peak performance—this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career.

This role is perfect for someone with mechanical experience, millwright or welding background, and a strong understanding of industrial equipment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
• Replace bearings, belts, screens, and maintain lubrication systems
• Support dust collectors, air systems, and plant equipment
• Complete small mechanical projects (welding, piping, fabrication)
• Operate and monitor glass processing and cleaning equipment
• Run equipment through PLC/control panels
• Package bulk product using automated systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• Support training of new team members
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Equipment You Will Be Using:

• Forklift & Scissor Lift
• Front-End Loader
• Automated production systems (PLC interface)
• Standard mechanical tools & welding equipment

What We Are Looking For:

• Mechanical background in manufacturing or production environment
• Technical Mechanical Diploma (required)
• Millwright, Welding, or Mechanical Red Seal (required)
• Experience with forklift, loader, and scissor lift operation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with SOPs, safety standards, and production targets
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable with standing, climbing, and working at heights
• Able to work in an industrial environment
