Welder/Fitter (Multiple Levels)
$19/hr to $34/hr

We are currently hiring Welders/Fitters for a growing structural steel fabrication company. This is a great opportunity to join a team working on custom, large-scale steel projects with opportunities for advancement based on skill level and experience.

Pay Range (Based on Experience):

• Fitter/Welder Cat 2: $19/hr to $24/hr (Entry-Level | 6+ months experience)
• Fitter/Welder Cat 3: $23/hr to $29/hr (Intermediate | 1+ year experience)
• Fitter/Welder Cat 4: $28/hr to $34/hr (Advanced | 3+ years experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
• Fit, align, and tack-weld structural steel components
• Perform MIG (GMAW) and/or FCAW welding
• Fabricate parts using tools such as grinders, torches, and cutting equipment
• Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality
• Grind, drill, and clean components during fabrication
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, kneel, and work in physically demanding conditions
• Lift 50+ lbs as needed
• Work in a shop environment, occasionally outdoors or at heights
• Must wear required PPE (helmet, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, FR clothing)
