Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle physical work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and deliveries
• Accurately pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders
• Organize and maintain stockroom, ensuring cleanliness and proper inventory management
• Track and document shipments, preparing regular reports for management
• Coordinate and schedule large shipments, ensuring adequate space and staffing
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve customer concerns efficiently
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental policies
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified)
• Assist with inventory control, including counting and cataloging items
• Handle heavy lifting and safely move large packages as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus
