Hands-On Fabricator (Grinders, Saws, Drills)

Salary: $20/hr.

Pay: $20/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm | Saturdays as needed

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, spark up the tools, and be part of a team that turns raw metal into precision-built screens? We’re looking for hands-on Fabricators for a local manufacturing company in Monroe, NC!

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, thrives in a team environment, and isn’t afraid of a little grind (literally— you will use grinders and drills daily).

Job Functions:

• Cut, drill, and weld stock metal into custom structures using engineering drawings.

• Prepare screen rings and cut mesh materials to exact specifications.

• Fabricate screens using either the weld mount process or the epoxy mount process (don’t worry, we’ll train you!).

• Use power tools like grinders and drills—safely, of course.

• Move and organize inventory throughout the day to keep things running smoothly.

• Perform light mechanical maintenance on department tools.

• Keep your workspace clean and safe (because safety always comes first).

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Willingness to wear PPE and pass a respirator fit test.

• Ability to read and interpret product specification drawings.

• Strong attention to detail, great teamwork, and good communication skills.

• Previous experience with power tools is required.

• Someone who follows processes and takes pride in quality work.
